We are welcoming new singers for our 2026-27 season!
HYPC rehearses on Mondays in Amherst at South Congregational Church (1066 South East St, Amherst).
Concert Choir (grades 3-5): 4:15 - 5:15 p.m.
Chamber Singers (grades 6-12): 5:45 - 7:15 p.m.

“The Hampshire Young People’s Chorus is a musical gem. I am not sure if there is another activity in the valley for children that provides the same high level of music education with so little weekly time commitment. If you come to a concert, you can’t help but be moved by what these young children can accomplish as a group: the blend, the harmonies, the musicality. My younger daughter has been part of HYPC for 5 years and has found it a place where she can feel challenged and taken seriously, while making friends and having fun. It has also opened doors for her to other musical endeavors. We would recommend HYPC to any kid who loves to sing!”
Hampshire Young People’s Chorus (HYPC) is an award-winning youth choir for singers ages 8-18, offering children the opportunity to experience choral singing in a comfortable and encouraging atmosphere. Healthy vocal technique and fundamental music skills are taught through singing a wide range of music from many styles and traditions.
